My story begins with the ocean
If I think back to some of my earliest memories in this life, the most clear to me would be being in the ocean as a child. I remember the feeling of being extremely nervous of the unfamiliarity of it, but at the same time so fascinated by its existence and the mysteries that it holds.
My journey with photography began at a very young age, and was something that captivated my attention and interest like nothing before. It was as if I had discovered a new world within this one. It wasn't long until my curiosity through photography naturally became immersed with my fascination toward the ocean. I was able to further that fascination by capturing the ocean and studying the way it moves and reacts through a photograph. It became my flow state.
The ocean has taught me to be still, patient and respectful. It has also helped me through some of my most difficult times. It is something that I am very fortunate and grateful to have in my life, and to be able to experience.
Still to this day there is nothing I have been more consistent with than returning to the ocean, dedicating years of my life toward learning about it, feeling its energy and moving with it to create art and bring the perspective I have of it to life for others to view and appreciate.
I am extremely excited to be able to share this perspective and experience with the world through my work as photographic prints.
